International Chamber of Commerce Co-operation
The Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland is an active party within the different organs of the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres ), and as a member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC ) and the Baltic Sea Chambers of Commerce Association (BCCA ). The Central Chamber of Commerce of Finland is involved in extensive co-operation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (RF CCI ), and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of North-West Russia. The focal points of the co-operation with Russian Chambers of Commerce and Industry concern customs and logistics matters, the improvement of the investment environment, ethical issues related to business, and arbitration proceedings.
The Chambers of Commerce of Finland and North-West Russia gathered in Pskov, Russia on 17 September 2009 for the Sixth Conference of the Chambers of Commerce (PDF, 17 Kt) of Finland and North-West Russia and signed a resolution (PDF, 13 Kt) . The previous Conferences were held in Tuusula, Finland (1999), St. Petersburg, Russia (2001), Joensuu, Finland (2003), Kirishi, Russia (2005) and Rovaniemi, Finland (2007).
Eurochambres invited its members to “Chambers meet MEPs” event on 14 October 2009 and published its EU Priorities for the New Political Term (PDF, 1 Mt) .
